If it’s Derby fever you have, then tune in to watch the Grade I Wood Memorial which is run at Aqueduct Racetrack on Saturday.
A field of 8 are scheduled to go postward including Todd Pletcher trained and Winstar Farm owned, Gemologist. Gemologist is undefeated with four wins under his belt. He topped off his 2-year-old season with a victory in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, a Grade 2, at Churchill Downs in mid November. On March 12th, the son of Tiznow, made his first start of the year, carrying Javier Castellanos to a decisive 7 legnth victory over a tough allowance field. Gemologist is currently the favorite at 8/5. All of trainer Todd Pletcher’s horses in his barn are on a daily dose of LubriSyn.
Second choice is Alpha, at 5/2, is trained by Kiarian McLaughlin and will be ridden by Ramon Dominguez. McLaughlin is also a firm believer and user of the LubriSyn products.
Once again, horses that are maintained on LubriSyn seem to find their way to the Grade I level of competition.
